Sept 2005 Life's Road, Born of WONDER, is an endless JOURNEY of dreams and NEW BEGINNINGS. |

All packed up and nowhere to go.. This is a before picture>

This is an after picture> We have moved the boxes and on Sunday the furniture should be gone. Next week I will clean out the apartment and figure out what to do with the food. Then we will be on the road. Cannot believe there is another big hurricane down south. I pray that this will dissipate and not cause any harm. We hope to be in Louisiana in November. We have now moved all the furniture except for Denis' computer and office stuff. That will be out by Sept. 29th. We have been sleeping in our trailer, parked in Helen's driveway, since Sunday and coming back to the apartment to do some work/cleaning and research. |
|
Said goodbye to dad today. It was so hard. I pray to God that I
will see him in a years time. I do love him. He has always been
independent and I guess that is why we are so strong and independent.

We had a hard time letting go of the computers!!!! |

All to this storage facility............> |
Our stay at Helen's before the big trip. |
We are now staying in our trailer in Helen's
driveway. It has been quite handy since we lived just down the road so
it made transferring of stuff really easy. She has been really good to
us, opening up her home for us to use. Thank you, Helen. Her daughter Bev and husband Leroy have been visiting. Great company. We have always enjoyed talking with them. They have so many stories of their travels, I think they may have influenced us toward this trip. |
|
Ricki is Helen's son and has been our host along with his
mom. I think
maybe he is the baby of the family but I could be wrong, because he seems
much younger then me I think of him as the baby.
Do they not look like a pair of devils. Leroy always has a smile on his face. Can't help but make you laugh. |
Denis will do a write-up on the tow vehicle and trailer at a later date. |
On our last evening in St. Catharines, before leaving on our
trip, we spent the evening with Win and Denise. Had quite a few laughs
with them. I heard there were bet's on how long we would last on the
road. I hear the most bets are for December. Well we hope to
surprise everyone. Even ourselves.
We will miss our friends. They all helped in our departure. We thank you all, you will be in our thoughts.
